Sheila Coryea won Exceptional Customer Service for doing the work of up to three vacant positions for the past year.
Justin Alford won Process Improvement for putting a couple of unused servers back into service for stormwater data and teaching others to use the software he installed.
Ricky Hatfield won for Outstanding Leadership for managing the Water Plant, which went accident-free for 18 months and received an exceptional facility award from the AMWA.
Hatfield, Arnold Eberly, Douglas Towne, Elnathan Brooks, Mark Bies, Jimmy Ward, James Baty, Ronnie Bartholomew, Jason Russell, Robert Thompson, William Wright, Audrey Brubeck and Al Hunter won the Safety/Heroism award for being the leadership team at the Water Plant, which went accident free for 18 months.
The ceremony was staged at Movieland with an Oscars ceremony theme. The awards committee wore tuxes, bowties and sparkly dresses, and the winner in each category of five nominees was kept secret until all were named. After the awards, attendees gathered in the Movieland Cafe for cupcakes, tea and lemonade.

Process Improvement: Sarah Farris, Lisa Smith, Gwen Speight-Branch, Billy Vaughan, Koscina Reynolds, Juno Irving.
Outstanding Leadership: Darryl Rivers
Safety/Heroism: Wilford Mayo, Damond Bryant
Individual Accomplishment: Ernest Morton, Lewis McAdams
Larry Grant serves on the Employee Recognition Program Standing Committee.
Nominations are now being accepted for Spring 2017. The achievement must have occurred between Oct. 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.
